You might have maybe  discovered  Warhammer and Warhammer 40k, and when you have  not then odds are  you have seen the superb  personal computer  game Dawn of War.

the makers are the masterminds behind these epic franchises. Since the biggest tabletop battle games enterprise in the world, Games Workshop may also be responsible for the more latest games depending on the lord of the Rings trilogy.

Just a little Background

Warhammer Fantasy Battle was the 1st game being set in Warhammers alternate middle earth realm.  Since its release in 1983 Warhammer has inspired generations of table top gamers and their action figures, starting them to painting and collecting the Warhammer miniature models that represent battlefield armies. One of the most seeked figure is the warhammer 40k space marine.

Warhammer 40k is Games Workshops future version of the original game, occur the far future.  Post apocalyptic societies have a hard time to control the galaxy, finding strange alien races and evil around every corner.  This particular franchise was delivered to wide media attention with the liberate of Dawn of War to the PC in 2004.

Warhammer has come a long way from those early days. Games Workshops commercial attitude for the franchise has turned many unsuspecting people into serious hobbyists who’re almost hooked on the system.
